I don’t know if I missed some of the previous ones, but this is the first official commercial for a line from Supreme. The new Spring/Summer 2012 line was just announced and the preview and lookbook are both now up on the website. The commercial is called “Pizza Face” and features exactly what you would expect from the people over at Supreme; raw editing and footage of some kids skating, much like some of the OddFuture videos.
This new spring/summer line looks a little bland overall, especially compared to previous years, but it does have its highlights. One of the obvious standouts is the expected Kate Moss print tee, which is going to sell out ridiculously quick and probably resell for a pretty dollar. It features a bigger color palette than usual, which is kind of getting some negative feedback, but I like it. There’s a few dope pieces of outerwear and some simple, but nice sweatshirts. There’s a lack of a box logo hoodie in the preview, but I’m sure there’s still one coming out. I hope. I still don’t have one after a few seasons of trying.. The graphic tees this season are meh though. All the caps look dope as usual and there’s some pretty interesting lifestyle/accessory pieces too. I think I’m going to cop that ceramic tray and just eat some fucking salad off of it. Oh, and I NEED that travel bag. Not sure which one yet, any one. I don’t know. Shit. I just need one.
