My favorite photographer, Terry Richardson, just posted pictures from his Big Bang photoshoot. Who is Big Bang? I don’t really blog about kpop here, so some of you guys might not know, but Big Bang is probably the biggest “hip-pop” group in Korea, maybe even Asia. They are also one of the very few kpop artists/groups that I actually respect (asides from Seungri because he’s useless). This group of people are extremely talented and they have some of the best art direction, in terms of both concept and execution, that I have seen in a while.
It seems like this photoshoot is to promote their recent mini-album that they dropped, or it was at least done after their makeover for the album concept. Personally, I liked the first photoshoot that they did with Terry, it had a lot more personality. This one just seems like any photoshoot with two different outfits. Nothing special. And also, either TOP has absolutely no personality or he is just terrible at taking photos.
