YouTube channel, Nerdist, apparently puts on these celebrity bowling matches for charity, films them, and puts them up on the internet for everyone to see. Its just nerd/geek celebrities though, that are affiliated with said nerd/geek shows such as Mad Men and, in this case, The Walking Dead.
For this bowling match, Nerdist brought together Robert Kirkman (Creator/Executive Producer), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), and Scott Wilson (Hershel) and challenged them for the charity money. The winning team gets money to donate to their charity of choice. This is a super dope way of really catering to the hardcore fans of the show. I love this idea because, first off, bowling is awesome (but I’m terrible at it) and second, it lets the fans see these actors outside of the show. I’ve been a huge fan of Steven Yeun ever since it was announced that he was cast as Glenn for the TV series, but this video makes me love him so much more. And yes, I have a man crush.
