An absolutely epic song to an beautifully epic music video. The new music video by Woodkid for the single, Run Boy Run, is one of the single most gorgeous things that I have seen on film as of late. The cinematography and compositing used to make the video is perfect for the song. I don’t know if I would like the song if I had heard it by itself, but with the video, its perfect. The video features, what else, a boy running away from monsters and then joining those monsters, charging into battle. The amazing side panning shot is almost like a old-school sidescrolling platform game and is pretty exciting.
