Sometimes I forget that my roots are in art and design after working with hip-hop for so long. Its times like this when I stumble upon some amazing pieces of art that I want to jump back to my roots, which I’m planning on working on again. Oh, by the way, this post might be slightly NSFW. French photographer, Julien Palast, has created something called his “skindeep” series. The photos consist of very detailed and color silhouettes of the human body created by shrink wrapping bodies and thus exposing the beautiful contours and curves with vibrant colors. I think this is absolutely beautiful. These simple images create all different kinds of emotions from lust to horror. Its pretty amazing what a simple concept can create when executed properly.
