Farmers Insurance.

I’ve always been a bit of a fan of RiFF RaFF. I knew I recognized Dirty Nasty, and with some research, found out he’s actor, Simon Rex. And Andy Milonakis, well, he let Based God fuck his bitch. With their powers combined, they have become the hip-hop trio known as Three Loco. The group is under Diplo‘s MAD DECENT label and just dropped one of their first music videos. The video and song for We Are Farmers [Read More]

Zucchini Blossolini.

One of my favorite people to blog about is back. Action Bronson brings us a new video in collaboration with MySpace for their OneToWatch series on cooking his fried zucchini blossoms. Bronson is a huge fan of food, and even took up the official title as chef before he actually gave it up for the rap game. The zucchini blossoms are stuffed with ricotta and served with a pseudo-tomato jam. Action Bronson also goes into his background [Read More]

Nicki, Big Sean, and 2NE1.

G.O.O.D. Music, Young Money, and YG all together in one video? You might be thinking that this is the collab of the century, but its actually just the new Adidas commercial with Jeremy Scott and his favorites: Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, and my favorite Korean pop sensation 2NE1. The new advertising campaign is called “All Originals Represent” and feature the artists representing different parts from all around the world. Hermann Deininger, CMO of the brand, says, “This [Read More]

Gangnam Style.

I wasn’t going to post this, but I think it is way too amazing not to. Even my non-Korean co-workers love it, so I think the whole world should enjoy this video too. Or at least the few of you that will end up reading and watching this. I was originally going to post this a few days ago, but I haven’t had the time. I guess its good that I waited because the other day, the [Read More]

Happy Birthday Webhead.

Happy birthday Spider-Man! This month marks the 50th birthday of my favorite superhero, Spider-Man. Marvel has planned a few events for the celebration of the world’s favorite webhead, which included the release of this year’s The Amazing Spider-Man in theatres. The celebration also includes some incredible variant covers for this month’s issues and also a special new story arc in The Amazing Spider-Man comics. After looking at a few of these variant covers, I definitely need to [Read More]

007 and Q.

Finally a new Bond movie. Well, the teaser/trailer for this movie already came out, but that one was nothing compared to this one. This new trailer for SKYFALL looks absolutely gorgeous. People are saying that this Daniel Craig Bond movie finally feels like a real Bond movie. I always thought that the previous ones, especially the first one felt like Bond movies, but after thinking about it, I think its because of the added campy element that [Read More]

Dark Knightfall.

Derek Kwok and Henri Wong of Parabucks co. used, what looks like, Hot Toy‘s super detailed action figures to create an extraordinary stop-motion animation called Batman: Dark Knightfall. In terms of plot and universes, the short film seems to take place within the Nolan universe and after, or maybe in between, the events of The Dark Knight Rises. The video says that it isn’t the full version and that the full version is still coming. If the [Read More]

Snoop Lion.

So Snoop Dogg apparently has changed his name to Snoop Lion after a journey to Jamaica. That’s cool, I guess. Super-hipster brand/magazine, VICE, brings us a documentary that follow Snoop on this journey to Jamaica where he records an album with Diplo. The film shows how Snoop is embraced by the Jamaican people and really becomes immersed in the Rastafarian culture in a positive way. The documentary shows the journey of how he goes from being Snoop [Read More]

Borders of Infinity.

Louis Vuitton brings us a short film by director KT Auleta that pays homage to Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Room and its concept of self-obliteration. This idea of getting lost within a sea of ourselves and, in this case, being dots or lights is interesting. An excerpt from the Louis Vuitton website says this: Infinity can be made up of a cloud of hypnotic dots; it is also a prism through which Art is reflected. Literature, photography or [Read More]
