Los Angeles Screen Printers.

If you’ve ever wondered how t-shirts are made or more specifically, how screen printing works, the good people over at Thrash Lab have made a video for you guys! The medium of screen-printing has always been a go-to for brands and creatives within both the fashion and communication industries. The (relative) ease and accessibility to the materials and such have been super appealing to a lot of creatives. I use a local screen printer in downtown Los [Read More]

GOOD and Complex.

Complex Magazine has always been one of my favorite magazines, mostly because of their amazing covers and features. I guess I could be biased because of my love for the hip-hop and the culture, but in terms of design and coming from a background in print design, I think its a great magazine. The August/September issue of Complex Magazine has brought together the key members of the G.O.O.D. Music family for a great in-depth interview and photoshoot [Read More]

Araab x Brown.

Filmmakers Yours Truly and Adidas Originals have come together to continue a series that they call “Songs From Scratch“. The latest addition to the series includes the up and coming rapper Danny Brown and one of my favorite producers right now, araabMUZIK, coming together for the first time to create a brand new track. The video gives us an inside look at the process that took place for this song to be made. You can see them [Read More]

Bougie Chef Lunches.

René Redzepi is quickly becoming one of my favorite chefs right now. Redzepi is the founder of the world-famous Michelin-starred restaurant, NOMA. NOMA is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and is known for their artful Nordic dishes that are ridiculously detail-oriented. Danish photographer and filmmaker, Simon Ladefoged, came together with the staff at NOMA to capture a side of the world-renown restaurant that the public hasn’t seen before. Everyday at 5:00, the internationally diverse staff of chefs and [Read More]

Hit Goldie ASAP.

One of my favorite tracks right now is A$AP Rocky‘s new single, Goldie, produced by Hit-Boy, which means two of my favorite tracks right now is produced by Hit-Boy. The other one being Kanye West‘s Way Too Cold aka Theraflu. Jelani Fresh brings us some visuals for a behind the scenes look at what went on in the studio during the mixing of this track. I think the best part of this type of visual is that [Read More]

The Athlete’s Song.

One of my favorite artists/producers, Mark Ronson, has teamed up with Coca-Cola for a very interesting project. These two have come together in order to bring us a music project that I’ve never seen done before. Using professional athletes and the sounds that they make while doing their thing, Mark will produce a song. They have even brought us a behind the scenes documentary of this project and a sample of the resulting song by Mark Ronson. [Read More]

Do Your Thang.

I recently posted about the collaboration track that Andre 3000, the Gorillaz, and James Murphy did with Converse called Do Ya Thing. The video for it came out a while ago now, but I haven’t had the time to post it. The video is definitely a Gorillaz video and features the gang in real world environments. I believe the video is also a continuation of the lore from their last album. A couple of new characters in [Read More]

Lemme Do My Thang.

The Gorillaz recently just worked on a collab track with James Murphy and André 3000 for Converse‘s Three Artists, One Song series. The song drops today for download but you can stream the song, Do Ya Thing, now. Its a pretty dope track and its exactly what you would expect coming from the minds of Damon Albarn and André 3000. You can also check out a behind-the-scenes video for, what looks like, the music video, which should [Read More]

That’s Gucci.

Let me just start off by saying that Lucas Vercetti gives me the creeps. He looks like a fucking alien, mostly in pictures, but in this video, he looks a bit more normal. Highsnobiety gives us a behind-the-scenes look of the OddFuture (OFWGKTA) pop-up shop on Fairfax where the late HUF store used to be. It gives us some typical Golf Wang footage with Tyler and a few of the gang. I still want that Free Earl [Read More]
