Converse comes out with a new 3 Artists, 1 Song collaboration not too long after their last one. This one, Warrior, features the likes of Mark Foster of Foster the People, world-famous DJ A-Trak, and new artist Kimbra. The music video shows the artists in the ring fighting it out with luchador masks, almost in the style of street fighter. I’m not quite sure what exactly is going on in the video besides the fighting itself, but I like it. I mean, I did end up watching it all the way through, so that’s gotta mean something. Also there’s something about Kimbra that just fascinates me, but I’m not sure if that’s actually a good thing.

A while ago, a Jordan x Converse collaboration was announced and its finally been revealed. The special limited edition and signed pack by Jordan and Converse is a homage to the Converse sneakers that Michael Jordan was rocking 30 years ago in his Freshman year. There will only be 30 very, very limited edition packs containing a pair of Converse sneakers and a UNC jersey. Every pack will be numbered and personally autographed by Michael Jordan. All shoes will come in Jordan’s size 13 with a certificate of authenticity.

These packs will not be sold in retail stores and will only be held for auction on eBay HERE. All proceeds go to the James R. Jordan Foundation, which exists to strengthen families, motivate youth, ensure high quality educational opportunities and improve global healthcare.

Do Your Thang.

I recently posted about the collaboration track that Andre 3000, the Gorillaz, and James Murphy did with Converse called Do Ya Thing. The video for it came out a while ago now, but I haven’t had the time to post it. The video is definitely a Gorillaz video and features the gang in real world environments. I believe the video is also a continuation of the lore from their last album. A couple of new characters in the video too, which are pretty cool.

The Gorillaz recently just worked on a collab track with James Murphy and André 3000 for Converse‘s Three Artists, One Song series. The song drops today for download but you can stream the song, Do Ya Thing, now. Its a pretty dope track and its exactly what you would expect coming from the minds of Damon Albarn and André 3000.

You can also check out a behind-the-scenes video for, what looks like, the music video, which should be dropping soon hopefully. Maybe even today with the downloadable track.
