I kind of forgot about him after that and recently just started his listening to his stuff again, both the live mixes and the Fool’s Gold stuff. He’s probably one of the best DJs out there right now, but producer-wise we’ll see.

A-Trak shows off his more humorous side with this new video showing off his mixing and scratching skills with his track with Dillon Francis, Money Makin’. This is just a fraction of what he can do on the turntables. One of my favorite videos, maybe overall, is his performance at Fat Beats NYC on their closing day.

This collab uses Absolut Vodka and Swedish House Mafia in order to promote their new Absolut Greyhound drink, which I’m not sure if its a recipe or an actual bottled and sold drink. The promotion features a commercialized music video of sorts that depicts an art direction not too different from Lady Gaga and features futuristic dog racing. The mechanical dogs are controlled by, who I believe is, Swedish House Mafia, and their success is based on the artist’s skill in mixing. As ridiculous as this sounds, the video is absolutely gorgeous and has some of the best CG I’ve seen in a commercial lately. Plus it features a cameo from Madd Chadd.

DJ Sosupersam has just announced that she will be touring with Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover and Danny Brown on their recent CAMP Tour. Sosupersam will be playing a little opening set before each show. If you guys haven’t seen here, she’s an amazing DJ. You will fall in love. Guaranteed. I know I did. Here’s a clip of her DJing for Donald Glover as he freestyles.

Unfortunately, Sam won’t be able to make all the tour dates, including all of Canada, so you might want to check out when and where she will be hitting the stage with Troy at her website HERE. And here’s another picture of her just for kicks and giggles, mainly because I love her. Oh and also Donald puts on one hell of a show. I was able to cover his SIGN-UP Tour show in LA back in November. I’m sad that there’s no LA show this time. C’mon Donald!
