Los Angeles Screen Printers.

If you’ve ever wondered how t-shirts are made or more specifically, how screen printing works, the good people over at Thrash Lab have made a video for you guys! The medium of screen-printing has always been a go-to for brands and creatives within both the fashion and communication industries. The (relative) ease and accessibility to the materials and such have been super appealing to a lot of creatives. I use a local screen printer in downtown Los [Read More]

This Is My Type of Party. [EXCLUSIVE Rock the Bells 2012 Re-Cap]

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I’ve been pretty busy lately. Not this past weekend, but the weekend before, I was given the chance to go and cover Rock the Bells 2012 in San Bernardino with my Power 106 family (who had the best presence by far at the event). As excited as I was to cover the events, I was not excited for the drive out there and the weather. The first day was almost [Read More]

Birds of the Yard.

Hong Kong has always been one of my dream vacation destinations sometime within the near future. I really want to go mostly because of the food, but also because of the culture and the fashion. In a lot of ways, Hong Kong is really similar to Los Angeles, if you just take all the people in LA and make them Asian, you’ll essentially have Hong Kong. Or so I hear. I’ve also heard that the women they’re [Read More]

Ninjas in Paris.

As you guys might know by now, one thing we love to say is “Dashet cray.“, which originates from this past year’s hit, Ni**as in Paris from the Watch the Throne album by Jay-Z and Kanye West. I think, in a way, we were lucky that the song had that famous line that everybody says now because it was perfect for our brand and really was exactly what this brand represents. I actually designed this shirt months [Read More]

Fatass Fridays: Bacon and Custard.

Let me start off by introducing another series that we’re starting here on the site called Fatass Fridays, where we’ll be reviewing different foods and places of food. This won’t be a weekly thing, but it will be released on the occasional Fridays, so please look forward to our reviews on some of the delicious, or not so delicious, things that we have been eating. Cool Haus has been a truck/spot that I have been meaning to [Read More]

U MAD SWAG.

Yesterday, Childish Gambino performed a “secret” show, of sorts, somewhere in Los Angeles, in some kind of warehouse/loft in downtown. Lucky for the rest of us, the performance was streamed on YouTube. Yesterday, I think around 5PM it was streamed on the 5 Gum channel. 5 Gum has been sponsoring a lot of dope stream lately, kind of random, but cool. He performed most of his biggest hits both off his mixtapes and his album, but he [Read More]

Avant Choi Truck.

Mike D of the legendary Beastie Boys is the patron and creative head of a festival called The Avant/Garde Diaries in Los Angeles that just started 2 days ago on April 20 (appropriate) and runs until May 6, 2012. Mike invited 17 artists from all different backgrounds to create an amazing 17 day event consisting of concerts, DJ nights, performances, and installations. The events take place at the MOCA museum in Los Angeles and you can find [Read More]

Unique Lows.

Uh. UNIQLO is coming to the west coast. UNIQLO IS COMING TO CALIFORNIA! UNIQLO IS COMING TO ..San Francisco.. Man.. I wish they were coming to Los Angeles first, but this is good news! The SF location will be the first of a few stores that are coming to the Best Coast. Los Angeles locations are being scouted as we speak! If you don’t know what UNIQLO is, its a Japanese brand that is huge throughout Asia [Read More]

UCLA Mini-Shoot.

Last Friday, April 6, 2012, we decided to do a little impromptu mini-photoshoot to showcase the first couple shirts that we’ve printed so far. We took to our cars, grabbed a few friends, and took to our alma mater. Being a Los Angeles brand, we also had to represent our favorite LA school, UCLA. Shoutouts to my fellow Bruins. I think the photos do a good job of showcasing the different types of looks that people can [Read More]

Video Shoppin’.

The music video for I Think She Ready by artists, FKi, Iggy Azalea, and produced by Diplo debuted on SSENSE. The video was made in Los Angeles by Alex 2Tone of What You Steal, who also directed Iggy’s My World. The warddrobe for the artists in the video was styled entirely by SSENSE and the video features pretty cool technology where as you watch the video, you can purchase what the artists are wearing in the video.
