Big Boy’s Neighborhood Style.

I know I’ve been terrible with the posts lately, but I really have been busy. :( So I know that you guys are probably tired of all theses Gangnam Style parodies and remakes by now, but I promise you that this one is different! Last Friday, I had the amazing opportunity to shoot a Power 106 Gangnam Style video with the one and only PSY and Big Boy’s Neighborhood. Oh man, I was so excited when I [Read More]

Big Booty Heaux.

I might be hypebeastin‘ a bit, but everything that comes out of DONDA‘s doors is amazing. From the 2 Chainz B.O.A.T. album covers to, now, the music video for Birthday Song, DONDA has been the epitome of what bougie ghetto is and truly represents Kanye‘s design sense in the best way possible. Directed by Andreas Nilsson, an executive/director under Kanye’s DONDA creative collective, the music video for 2 Chainz and Ye’s Birthday Song features an amazing pseudo-one [Read More]

Gangnam Style.

I wasn’t going to post this, but I think it is way too amazing not to. Even my non-Korean co-workers love it, so I think the whole world should enjoy this video too. Or at least the few of you that will end up reading and watching this. I was originally going to post this a few days ago, but I haven’t had the time. I guess its good that I waited because the other day, the [Read More]

Trukfit and Rebirth.

I’m a little late on this post, but I decided to post it anyways because as much as I hate Lil Wayne, this video is fantastic. Also the song is terribly catchy. I think the production and art direction of this video is amazing. Lil Wayne’s video for his track “My Homies Still“, which features Big Sean, features the two artists literally turning a suburbia upside down in a truly psychadelic way. Oh and it features a [Read More]

Dope Beezies.

This is absolutely one of my favorite songs right now. Its been a while since I liked a song by The Dream, but this one is too dope. The Pusha T feature is great as usual. The video for the song features some beautiful females and, of course, some dope, well, a lot of dope. Its a simple video and pretty much the standard when it comes to hip-hop music videos, but I absolutely love it. Its [Read More]

Truf About Teef.

I’ve always wondered what happened to Danny Brown‘s teeth. Who’s Danny Brown? Danny Brown is the new face of fashion designer, Mark McNairy. Oh, and he’s also an up and coming rapper being cosigned by the likes of Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino and also on XXL‘s Freshmen list for 2012. I haven’t really gotten into this guy’s music, but man is he a face you won’t forget. He’s definitely an interesting looking character, mainly his teeth. [Read More]

Oh my, how our little Even Stevens has grown up. Shia LaBeouf came together with critically-acclaimed Icelandic band, Sigur Ros, and filmmaker, Alma Har’el, for the latest installment of its Mystery Film Experiment, which is for their recently dropped sixth studio LP, Valtari. This video is for one of their instrumental tracks off the album called Fjogur Piano and is a surreal and hallucinogenic short film, of sorts. The video features everything from butterflies to an underwater [Read More]

Hit-Boy’s Hits.

Currently one of my favorite producers, Hit-Boy, is really doing some amazing things right now. From his Throne banger, Ni**as in Paris, to his newest to-be hit with the Biebs, Right Here (featuring Drake), Hit-Boy has been producing for just about anyone who’s anyone. One of my favorites of his right now is his production on A$AP Rocky‘s Goldie. That track is fire. Apparently, not only is Hit-Boy a producer, but he also spits a rhyme or [Read More]

Action Graphics Part Deux.

There’s one thing I love and wish I had time to experiment more with, well maybe two, but one of them is motion graphics. I’ve posted about the chef before, but if you don’t know, Action Bronson is one of my favorite up and coming rappers. Bronson’s new single dropped recently and so did the video for it. Hot Shots Part Deux has that classic Bronsolini sound with production by White Russian and features a visually fantastic [Read More]

Run Woodkid Run.

An absolutely epic song to an beautifully epic music video. The new music video by Woodkid for the single, Run Boy Run, is one of the single most gorgeous things that I have seen on film as of late. The cinematography and compositing used to make the video is perfect for the song. I don’t know if I would like the song if I had heard it by itself, but with the video, its perfect. The video [Read More]
