Middle-Line Toxins.

As terrible as the event was, the 2010 toxic waste spill in western Hungary created a visual landscape that is truly beautiful in a way. The event was considered the biggest in Hungarian history, where around 1 million cubic meters of alumina sludge was released over the area after a retaining wall in one of the reservoirs, used for accumulating byproducts of the aluminum company, burst. Spanish photographer, Palíndromo Mészáros, created a photography series appropriately called “the [Read More]

Shrink-Wrapped Beauties.

Sometimes I forget that my roots are in art and design after working with hip-hop for so long. Its times like this when I stumble upon some amazing pieces of art that I want to jump back to my roots, which I’m planning on working on again. Oh, by the way, this post might be slightly NSFW. French photographer, Julien Palast, has created something called his “skindeep” series. The photos consist of very detailed and color silhouettes [Read More]

Terry’s Big Bang.

My favorite photographer, Terry Richardson, just posted pictures from his Big Bang photoshoot. Who is Big Bang? I don’t really blog about kpop here, so some of you guys might not know, but Big Bang is probably the biggest “hip-pop” group in Korea, maybe even Asia. They are also one of the very few kpop artists/groups that I actually respect (asides from Seungri because he’s useless). This group of people are extremely talented and they have some [Read More]

Hollywood Lindsay.

One of my favorite photographers is Terry Richardson, and while you can argue that he is overrated and anyone can take the photos that he takes, he is the one that invented that signature Terry Richardson look that everyone copies and imitates nowadays. And even now, you can still tell the different between a legit Terry Richardson piece and the imitations. Terry just did shoot for the latest issue of British LOVE Magazine with Lindsay Lohan and [Read More]

Knee Highs.

I guess you would really have to know me to know this, but I absolute LOVE knee high socks on women. Hm, now that I think about it, this blog is kind of becoming a hub for me to tell some strange facts about me and only my friends read this blog right now so.. yeah.. I’m not weird, I promise. I think. ANYWAYS. The Hundreds is releasing a pair of socks called The Hundreds Physical socks. [Read More]

Sex Sells Fruit.

Hypebeast recently started a feature called Hypebeast Eats, where they showcase chefs/eateries, and this week, they talked about Fresh Cafe in Honolulu, Hawaii. Fresh Cafe is run by Tiffany Tanaka and is a cafe known for its great local fresh fare and its hub for local art and creatives. One of the things they are best known for is their Açaí bowls. For those of you that don’t know, Açaí bowls are pretty much just smoothies made [Read More]

Natural Beauty.

Apparently, there are more than 20,000 photos submitted to the National Geographic Photography contest from both amateur and professional photographers. How do can they possibly look through all those photos? That shit cray. There are three categories: Nature, People, and Places, and the grand prize winner is chosen from the winners of those three categories. The winner of this year’s contest was Shikhei Goh of Indonesia with his photograph of a dragonfly in the rain. Check out the [Read More]
